Roy Orbison: Live at The Seattle Center Coliseum

Mercy! Recently uncovered in the Orbison archives, RoyOrbisonLive.com presents Roy Orbison: Live at The Seattle Center Coliseum. Recorded live on September 5, 1987 at Bumbershoot: Seattle’s Arts Festival by a member of the Orbison crew, this concert showcases all the finesse of Roy Orbison’s later shows.

Founded in 1971, Bumbershoot: Seattle’s Arts Festival still takes place annually. A true music-lover’s event, in 1987 the eclectic lineup included Dwight Yoakam, k.d. lang, Miles Davis, Gregg Allman, Bonnie Raitt, and Roy Orbison to name a few. Taking the stage to play a packed house at the Seattle Center Coliseum Orbison and his band deliver one of their finest performances. Cheering fans fuel reprises on “Crying” and “Running Scared” that can only be described as epic. From the very same 1987 tour as the famed Mean Fiddler show Roy Orbison: Live at The Seattle Center Coliseum boasts a similar set list. Mastered by Grammy Award winning engineer Richard Dodd, this 15 track release will not disappoint!
